ECG (Electrocardiogram)

An ECG, or electrocardiogram, is a test that records the electrical activity of the heart. It's a non-invasive procedure that helps doctors assess heart rate, rhythm, and detect potential abnormalities or damage. Essentially, it provides a snapshot of how the heart is functioning electrically.

Holter Monitoring

A Holter monitor is a portable device that continuously records the electrical activity of your heart over 24 to 48 hours, or even longer. It's essentially a type of ambulatory electrocardiogram (ECG). Unlike a standard ECG, which provides a snapshot of heart activity at a single moment, a Holter monitor captures the heart's rhythm over an extended period, allowing doctors to identify irregular heartbeats or other heart issues that might not be apparent during a brief test.

TMT (Treadmill Test)

A treadmill test, also known as a TMT or cardiac stress test, is a diagnostic procedure that assesses the heart's ability to respond to physical stress. It involves walking or running on a treadmill while the heart's electrical activity (ECG), blood pressure, and other vital signs are monitored. This test helps doctors evaluate blood flow to the heart muscle, identify potential heart problems, and assess the overall fitness of the cardiovascular system.

PFT Test (Pulmonary Function Test)

A Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) is a group of non-invasive tests that assess how well your lungs are working. These tests measure various aspects of lung function, such as air intake, oxygen absorption, and exhalation efficiency. PFTs are used to diagnose, monitor, and manage respiratory conditions like asthma and COPD.
